An idea hackathon is a two or three day session where you pitch your innovative tech idea or hear other people’s idea after which you form a team with the aim to start working on this idea to profer solution or service to the target audience (in exchange of money), in other words, an idea hackathon is just about working to turn an idea into a real business.
Come Friday May 20th 2016, iBridge hub will be hosting an idea hackathon with the aim of gathering young and skilled minds to build solutions.
According to the information on the iBridge Hub’s website, the session will kick off Friday at 4 pm with the ideation session, and then Saturday from 10 am the design sprint and business feasibility session. Seasoned and famous entrepreneur in Ibadan would come in to give experienced and insightful guides to the various ideas.
Selected teams will get a 6 month office space with an unlimited internet to build these ideas alongside basic seed funding support to get the business in operation.
