According to trading economics, the unemployment rate in Nigeria is currently 10.4%, which is considerably high. The unemployment rate measures the figure of people aggressively searching for a job as a percentage of the labour force.
Increasing digital entrepreneurship and generating new job openings for young individuals is critical to Nigeria’s development, which will also assist in bridging the unemployment gap. These digital skills are still under-developed, making it difficult for us to maximise the potential of the internet.
iBridgeHub Ibadan recently partnered with Livity Africa, to tackle the aforementioned. They are providing a one-day sponsored training on ‘Digital Marketing & Strategy’ called Digify Bytes. This is being done with the intention of providing an opportunity to impact the upcoming generation and encourage the youths to be more innovative. The training is free but registration is compulsory.
The training hopes to provide a snapshot of digital marketing skills which is applicable either to advance your career or to grow your personal business. The training is meant for young graduates; business owners; and professional/corporate workers looking to acquire digital skills to get better at work.
Are you a young graduate, employed professional, business owner?? Then this is for you.
