Plans For Ibadan Social Media Festival 2017 Unveiled

Another social media inspired event was brought to our notice a couple of weeks ago and plans to stage the event have been unveiled. The event is expected to be an avenue for youths who are the largest active group on social media to learn, relax, chill, connect and network at one venue.

Below is a public statement issued via the social media handle dedicated to the event.

”The event will take place on Saturday 11th of November, 2017 at Lead City High School, Jericho, Ibadan. Event Starts from 10am.

There will be two major sessions. We would have the panel discussion segment where speakers well versed in the social media field lead discussions in pertinent areas. The second segment is the interaction/networking segment where individuals can interact with one another and businesses too can get to meet their followers and customers. It will climax with a party and there will be food, drinks, games and karaoke as side attractions. There will also be a google training for SMEs and individuals alike. It is a fully packed event.

The event is powered by CONNECT IBADAN, VOZ EMPIRE and PAUL ALASIRI. It is fully endorsed and supported by Oyo State Ministry of Youths and Sports and Oyo State Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism.”
