Foremost tech hub in Ibadan, iBridge Hub as part of its mandate to make Ibadan a city of digital natives and tech entrepreneurs is bringing another edition of its regular fireside chats to Ibadan.
The iBridge Hub Fireside Chat is an event where various professionals and entrepreneurs share their experience in the Nigerian entrepreneurial scene. It comes up on the last Friday of every month.
This month’s chat comes up on Friday, 31st March between 4 pm and 6pm, at Nustreams Conference and Culture Centre, Km 110, Alalubosa GRA Dugbe-Apata Road, Ibadan.
Speaking at the community chat will be Elizabeth Babatunde, a Legal Practitioner and Content Development expert. Ms Babatunde will be sharing her perspective and knowledge on the topic, “Good Start, Good Startup: Legal Issues to Consider.”
Elizabeth Babatunde is passionate about causes fostering social development of individuals and the community at large through education, enterprise and other creative tools with the aim of making sustainable impact.
Her interests are in Social Entrepreneurship, Business Support, Community Development Service, Teenage and Youth Education, Creative Design and Missionary Activities.
She has worked for several organizations and law firms. She’s got a deep sense of responsibility for her community through volunteering on causes that span entrepreneurship and social development such as “Wake Up and Smell the Coffee“, ‘The Nigerian Campus Enterprise Challenge‘ Organising Team, University of Ibadan, (2012). She is currently volunteering with Project Care NG,
The event is open to everybody, but it is of particular benefit to those who are interested in understanding the legal complexities to startups. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn something new about startups and have their questions, suggestions, observations about legal issues in startups dealt with from an expert’s perspective.
