The challenge is for students currently studying in a Nigerian university/tertiary institution and have the ability to code. The students must apply in groups (minimum of 3 team members and maximum of 5) for the challenge by March 3, 2017.
Shortlisted teams will be invited to Lagos to present their projects on April 7 – 8, 2017. The winning team will receive ₦500,000 and a paid opportunity to work with some of Nigeria’s top engineers. There’ll be prizes and goodies for the runners up.
This isn’t the first time Konga is organizing such a challenge for Nigerian students. Last year, it organized a Software Developers Hackathon in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and the company rewarded winners with cash prizes and the opportunity to be mentored by its best Software Engineers.
