An aspect of new media which has proven particularly useful includes social media with sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc where people go to meet new people and catch up on what the rest of the world is doing. Brands and Individuals all over the world are leveraging on the reach of various forms of new media to reach clients all over the world with their products and services.

Paul Adepoju is the founder of IbPulse.com, one of Ibadan’s top news and lifestyle blogs. He is also a lecturer in the Department of Public Health at Babcock University, Ilishan Remo, Ogun State. He has undergone training sessions in various parts of the world such as the BBC Training and Development programs, Donald W. Reynolds Center for Business Journalism, ALISON, Canada among others. His interests are in Social media, Entrepreneurship, Health and Technology. He also writes technology and lifestyle blogs within and outside Nigeria.
Kunle Odugbesan is the Founder/CEO of Whatsup Ibadan, one of the pioneering News and Lifestyle bloggers in the city of Ibadan. He started WhatsupIbadan, when there was little to no awareness about the benefits of an online news platform. and over the years he has built the Whatsup Ibadan brand into one of the most followed showcase pages in the Oyo State capital. He has partnered with a lot of major brands and individuals to promote events in Ibadan. His interests are in using new media to promote events to help businesses in Ibadan grow.
Babajide Fadoju is currently the Special Assistant to the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi on New Media. He has managed Digital Media Operations for the African Movie Academy Awards and Hexavia Foundation. He was a contributor at the Social Media Week, Miami, Florida, USA earlier this year and has appeared in various forums on new media all over the world. He is interested in using digital media for Civil Rights and Social Action and leveraging technology to aid Economic Empowerment.
