On Sunday, in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League season, Kano Pillars Football Club of Kano recorded its biggest win when it thumped visiting Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan 6-0. The win was secured by Emmanuel Edmund’s hat-trick with as well as goals scored by Ifeanyi Matthew, Adamu Mohammed and Nafiu Ibrahim.
Ifeanyi Matthew started scoring for Pillars with a low drive after 11 minutes, then the hat trick crooner Edmund doubled the lead in the 37th minute.
