Veteran league coach Kadiri Ikhana has resigned his position as coach of Shooting Stars football club of Ibadan. Insiders say a raging cold war with general manager of 3SC Rasheed Balogun may have been the main reason veteran Ikhana threw in the towel.
In his own words, Ikhana explains the reason for his timely decision, saying that the management has failed to issue out a contract paper, almost at the end of the first stanza of the league. He also talked about the hardship faced by the players, which is the another valid reason he decided to take a walk at the Ibadan warlords.
The former Enyimba coach, who won the NPFL league last season with the Peoples Elephant, confirmed he has left the Oluyole Warriors on Sunday, May 15. Ikhana has joined the Oluyole Warriors at the beginning of the on-going top flight.
