THE Oyo State government on Monday declared that it has started to enumerate all its properties in the 33 local government areas across the state. The Commissioner for Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Hon Ajiboye Omodewu, made this known in a press release. Omodewu added that the enumeration exercise will help the government to have a comprehensive Property Data Base of all commercial, educational, health institutions, industrial and residential properties.
The statement added that the government officials in the 33 local government areas will soon commence the identification and enumeration of all properties under the supervision of Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban development.
Omodewu urged members of the public to the officials all their support, as they (the officials) go about their duties, concluding that the action would be beneficial to all and sundry.
