OYO STATE GOVERNMENT MEETING OVER PRIVITIZATION OF PUBLIC SCHOOL FAILED

The much talked about meeting scheduled to hold in Ibadan, state capital of Oyo State between the State Government and stakeholders in the education sector over the takeover of public schools in the state failed.

The meeting scheduled to hold yesterday Wednesday, 1st of June, 2016 was disrupted as the organised labour movement stormed the venue in protest against the idea of passing public schools to private hands for further management, chasing away all stakeholders who had assembled and disrupting the venue of the meeting.

In reply to this protest,  the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Alli has condemned the NLC for taking such an illegal action during an important public meeting.
