Warri Wolves bounced back in commendable fashion from their home loss to Rivers United over the weekend as they went to Ibadan and handed the Oluyole Warriors a 2-1 defeat.

It was King Osanga that got the curtain raiser for Wolves before the visitors doubled their lead when Shooting captain Izu Joseph was beaten in a race for the ball by John Odumegwu who caught the keeper cold with a smart shot.

Though Najeem Olukokun pulled one back for 3SC with 15 minutes still left to play, there was no coming back for Coach Kadiri Ikhana’s men who have been largely inconsistent this season.

With the home loss, Shooting Stars are in the relegation waters in 17th position with 17 points from 16 matches while on their part the away win has taken Wolves to 9th spot on the log.
